Currently a People Experience Officer responsible for enhancing the overall employee experience within the restaurants. My role focuses on creating a positive, engaging, and supportive environment looking after all employees wellbeing. Supporting the restaurant teams and Operations Consultant to implement people strategies and embed systems that align with McDonald's vision and culture.
Developing and delivering effective learning that enhances employee skills. Whether this is through supporting the McDonald's Education and Learning programmes within the restaurants highlighting opportunities to the team or supporting the Apprenticeship programme, especially during my time as Golden Pen where I worked on gaining Maths and English myself and supported over 100 apprentices to gain their qualifications.
A highlight of my career was being awarded Dean Chapman's Business Manager of the Year in 2008 for Franchising South, being recognising for exceptional leadership and performance in driving growth and operational excellence.
