Compassionate and caring, equipped with strong communication and organisational skills, along with a deep understanding of child development and family dynamics. Proven ability to provide nurturing support and create safe environment for both mother and baby. Dedicated to enhancing family wellbeing and fostering positive experiences as a non medical Maternity Nurse role.
My experience as a professional office manager and team coordinator has given me the skills to ensure that my own administration and compliance is managed effectively. Having worked and volunteered in the community now for 8 years, I have fostered a successful place for families to feel safe whilst exploring different ways to parent/look after their little ones. A fully trained Baby Massage and Baby Yoga teacher and for many years volunteered at a local Breastfeeding Cafe team member welcoming mums to the group.
For the past two years on a monthly basis I have provided tailored baby massage sessions for an Oxford charity SSNAP (Supporting sick newborn & their parents) working with parents and premature babies who have spent their early lives at the Special Care Baby Unit at the John Radcliffe hospital.
Happy to plan and cook nutritious meals for the new Mum.
Providing an fully supportive, friendly and reliable carer for Mum and baby in these early, at times challenging days, is really where I love to be.
I guess my proudest accomplishment is being a Mum to 3 children, they are all happily getting on with their adult lives now but still call on me for advice and guidance. More recently I developed my passion ( massage and babies) into my career and founded jojo Baby Massage in 2020.
