Trade counter assistant for this Electrical Distributor.
After 12 months was promoted to Assistant Stores Manager.
On Site, assist with servicing, repairing and maintaining Shear and Auxiliary equipment,
Fault finding within electrical control panels.
Repairing, safety/light curtains and safety guards.
Changing bearings, hydraulic hoses and pulley belts.
Replacing and installing new or refurbished blades on guillotines.
Workshop Based.
Rebuild, repair electrical control panels taken off machinery whilst on site.
Build new electrical control panels for existing machinery.
One day release for College and also two evenings.
Balanced part-time role with college studies, demonstrating strong time management skills.
I love to walk my Dogs Jersey and Jackson with my partner, I also enjoy cycling, reading and playing Tennis.
I love to travel and visit new places as and when I can.
I love doing DIY, and have gained many manual skills over the last 15 years whilst renovating two houses.
I have for the last 14 years dedicated a lot of my spare time doing various charity work. This to include, volunteer youth and support work, at a youth and community centre. I am also involved with Darlaston All Active, where I help out with the West midlands Amputee group, and also various sports and dance groups. I am a keen fundraiser for many charity events held at the Darlaston All Active centre, and also organise a lot of events to help raise vital funds.
I have been a member of the Walsall Pride group/Committee for five years, where I help fundraise and organise the Walsall Yearly Pride event.
I have worked at Newlife the charity for disabled children as a volunteer, which I enjoyed immensely!
