Through my school I completed a week placement at a law firm where I was given the opportunity to observe and work in a professional setting which included:
Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award 2020-2021
During this I successfully completed a multi-day expedition, developing navigation, camping, and survival skills.
Furthermore, I had to collaborate with my peers on group projects and activities which enhanced my teambuilding and leadership skills.
For the award I additionally completed 3 months of basic first aid training, gaining essential emergency response skills.
National Citizen Service (NCS) 2021
I completed a 6 week summer program where I collaborated with different teams on community service projects, enhancing my communication and leadership skills. This including research, budgeting and resource allocation.
I also volunteered in charity funding activities where we raised donations for our chosen organisation 'Charity Link' ,which fostered a sense of social responsibility and community impact.
I engaged in skill-building workshops, focusing on public speaking and conflict resolution.
Alongside this I developed my resilience and adaptability through challenging group activities and outdoor experiences.
