  • As a Trade Decision Maker and Analyst of a three-member team in the Global Trading Challenge 2022 organised by Bloomberg, I actively participated in the competition for more than a month and led the team to achieve impressive results globally through efficient model analysis and industry insights.
  • TEAM LEADERSHIP AND ACHIEVEMENTS: In this competition, I successfully led my team to a second place finish at the University of Southampton as well as an outstanding seventh place globally. My leadership and expertise set the team apart from the stiff competition, demonstrating my teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Trading Decision-Making and Analytical Role: Within the team, I assumed the key role of Trading Decision-Maker and Analyst by conducting in-depth research and analyses to screen out individual stocks with potential for short-term share price movement and abnormal returns in both the per-share and Hong Kong stock markets. I used tools such as Stata for data mining and model analysis to accurately capture investment opportunities, providing decisive information to support the team in formulating trading strategies.

  • Comprehensive shop operations and product shelving: In the early stage of the business, through active market research, I selected sports mugs as my main products and conducted fine product positioning and brand strategy development. I managed the inventory, purchasing and shelving of the products myself to ensure the accuracy and attractiveness of the product information and to provide customers with a high-quality shopping experience.

    Internal shop optimisation and partners: I took the initiative to contact professional companies for internal shop optimisation, including page design, user experience and search optimisation. I have established close cooperation with suppliers, logistics companies and other partners to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain, which improves the overall efficiency and reliability of the shop.

    Data Analysis and Strategy Adjustment: We carefully summarise shop data on a daily basis, analysing crowd profiles, purchasing habits, etc., and using this as a basis for formulating accurate marketing and operation strategies. By monitoring sales and traffic in real time, I am able to quickly adjust advertising, product pricing and other strategies to continuously optimise shop operations.

    Customer relationship management and sales breakthrough: By actively interacting with customers, I was able to grasp their needs, answer questions and provide personalised advice. I followed up with different customers in real time and established good customer relationships.
