Jia Sen Diong

Doctor
Birmingham,United Kingdom

Summary

As a dedicated and motivated junior doctor, I am keen on working in a medical team to treat patients holistically using medical knowledge and clinical skills. With an emphasis on communication and continued patient care, I prioritise building a strong rapport with my patients to ensure they feel cared for whilst receiving treatment in hospital.

From 2011 to 2017, I was awarded a 6-year ASEAN scholarship by Singapore's Ministry of Education (MOE) and had the opportunity to study and live in Singapore for 6 years. This has granted me great insight into living and working in Singapore.

I also have a keen interest in Ophthalmology and have taken up various leadership positions in medical executive committees and applied for multiple medical electives in Ophthalmology throughout the UK to gain further experience in the area.
