Work experience 2022.

I am a very sociable person and am very fond of children, so this was a lovely job experience.

I was tasked with:

• Helping prepare for lunchtime.
• Keeping their spaces clean and tidy.
• As well as assisting and supporting during playtime and snack time.

The children were very fond of me, and I created warm relationships with other staff members during my time there.

Once the experience was completed, I was complimented on my communication skills, offered a job opportunity, and my reference included the following observations.

• Impeccable timekeeping.
• Support and friendliness to other staff members.
• Calm, nurturing, and kind manner.

I am very flexible and apply myself to many positions, as has been proven in my current role. I have needed to be adaptable during peak times, moving quickly from one position to another, whilst ensuring the needs of guests are seamlessly met. As a result, I am now very experienced in Front of House, customer service, and dealing with the general public.

• I am a skilled barista.
• Able to use bean-to-cup machine, preparing a range of hot drinks.
• Sous chef, supporting the head chef.
• Bar support, completing till work and drink preparation under supervision.
• Till management and financial reporting at the end of the day.
• Waitressing.

I am also part of Event Management Team.

• Working on social media and boosting awareness for the company profile.
• Designing posters.
• Researching musicians and bands for possible booking.
• Researching hire companies for events.

The company has held some very busy events that were quite unexpected and met some challenges, but I have learnt valuable lessons and feel that I have always maintained professionalism, smile and never react to stressful situations negatively, all of these traits can be essential in hospitality!

• Managed catering services for groups of up to 30 guests during their resort stay, independently order taking and meal service three times daily.
• Enhanced guest satisfaction through attentive and prompt service, receiving many 5 star comments on my service and attitude through comment/feedback cards
• Ensured compliance with health regulations through effective cleaning practices in the multiple dining areas as I was in charge of cleaning and resetting their individual restaurant space after each service.
