Summary

I am a highly motivated professional nurse dedicated to enhancing the experience of patients with life limiting neurological disease. I have been at the forefront of discussions as a patient advocate where life sustaining treatment plans have been altered and even withdrawn. I have personal experience of the effects Huntingdon's can have on family members and how the ramifications of poor secondary care support can leave patients and families nonplussed about how to navigate the future. I am committed to improving quality of lives and experience of health care for this vulnerable and often forgotten patient group and believe I have the confidence and tenacity to excel in this position.
