As Captain of the Cheerleading Society while studying for my Masters at Lancaster, we achieved what was believed to be impossible; winning an away Roses (Lancaster vs. York Varsity).
This historic win lead to us being nominated for "Roses club of the Tournament" out of every single competing fixture at Roses 2023. We were against some tough competitors and unfortunately didn't come out of top. However, considering we weren't considered a sports team and were nominated as a sport was a huge achievement in itself and one I will always be proud of.
