I have been the founder and creator of Georgie's Canal cruises for the last 6 years and loved every minute of watching it grow. I renovated a restaurant boat to work to the legislation of MCA passenger requirements offering 2 hour cruises along the Staffs and Worcester canal.

I have grown the business through covid and adapted it to work through the challenges hospitality endured.

I am in control of managing the staff and their job roles, staff training, Restaurant ordering, in house baking for cruises, marketing and social media, website updates, our profit and loss account, banking and the general over seeing of the business.

• Worked alongside my management team and General manager to maintain the running of the business to the brand standard.
• Meeting targets and keeping with in budgets
• Recruited and trained driven, dedicated team members, reducing staff turnover.
• Maintained excellent client relationships by dealing with queries and complaints calmly and professionally.
• Conducted regular audits, maintaining appropriate stock supplies to meet consumer demand and keep in line with the business requirements
• The handling of cash and banking on close downs

I worked alongside my partner in the running of a country pub on the outskirts of Wolverhampton.

Our general day to day duties required the running of the business, marketing, over seeing staff, cellar management, profit and loss, kitchen management and maintaining a high standard of customer service
