Jessica Hodgson

Currently working as a Respiratory Sister withing the respiratory specialist nursing team. Within this role I independently run nurse led clinics, run a respiratory virtual ward and assess patients that are within a ward setting. During my roll I also attend home visits and assess patients within their home environments allowing us to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions. Previous to this I worked on the Acute assessment unit from qualifying. Within this role I was able to gain basic nursing knowledge and skills that has allowed me to progress my career into a specialist post. I regularly used my venepuncture and cannulation skills which I have kept up to date with in my current role.

I am a compassionate, driven nurse who offers excellent communication skills. I regularly manage and mentor junior members of the team and support them in training opportunities.
