I am an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant, I have worked in over 10 schools. Having worked closely with children from nursery to high school, including those with autism, ADHD, sensory issues, and challenging behaviours. Through my roles with CER Education and Axcis, I’ve gained valuable experience supporting children 1:1 and in small groups, providing tailored learning opportunities, and using a variety of techniques like bucket therapy and communication boards to encourage language, social skills, and academic understanding.
I have developed a strong interest in speech and language development and am eager to gain more experience in this field. My work with children with SEND has not only strengthened my knowledge across various areas of child development, but it has also fueled my passion for helping children thrive in both educational and social environments.
