Born and raised in Melbourne Australia I moved to the UK in June 2019 to begin a career as a Paramedic. As an HCPC registered Paramedic with over five years experience I have a proven ability to manage under high pressure environments with minimal clinical support. I am an effective communicator, adaptable and willing to learn new skills.
Employed full time as a paramedic. I worked for one of the world’s busiest ambulance services providing Emergency medical care to the people of London. As well as acute emergency care the role also involved many aspects of primary non emergency and chronic health care. I also worked throughout the covid-19 pandemic, working for approximately 18 months as a solo clinician alongside members of the London Fire Brigade and London metropolitan police officers. I gained significant mentoring experience with paramedic students during their university placements with London Ambulance Service. I am adept at working alongside and communicating with a wide range of health professionals including, community home careers, health care assistants, district nurses, general practitioners and other emergency services.
As a Storeman at NKT I was responsible for the movement, storage and condition of all incoming and outgoing products in the warehouse. This Task includes the unloading and loading of trucks and efficient packing and timely dispatch of goods within Australia and New Zealand. I was also involved in the initial setup and organisation of the new warehouse with a strong focus on efficiency and safety.
Originally employed as a casual laborer I quickly progressed, undertaking a 3 year apprenticeship to become a qualified marine technician. As a marine technician I was responsible for the servicing, repairs and custom installation tasks on a variety of marine vessels. Being a small business I was also responsible for the sales and customer service elements of the business. This role allowed me to attend a variety of different conferences, sales shows and service.
As a Pool Lifeguard I was tasked with monitoring several pools, providing rescue, first aid and customer relation services to patrons in one of the busiest aquatic centers in Melbourne. After several years of Life guarding I was promoted to Duty Manager which tasked me with ensuring the smooth operation of the whole facility including Gym, reception, cafe and aquatic facilities as well as the same skills required as a lifeguard.
