Since leaving university with a degree in Product Design Technology I have worked as a product designer at Net World Sports for close to four years. The experience gained working here has allowed me to continue to develop my understanding of the importance of great design for customers and how it can help promote the businesses reputation. My work has required a detail-oriented approach to ensure designs follow the brief and provide great customer experience while competently solving and adapting to any problems that may appear during the design process.
I have been able to develop experience in designing with different manufacturing techniques, materials and requirements. Some of those requirements being; rules, regulations, safety standards, patents, anthropometrics, ergonomics and competitor designs.
