Outside work I and enjoy spending time with my family going camping, cycling walking my dogs, DIY and watching loads of television.

Management

  • Currently Gunnery commissioning manager, supporting all engineers across four weapons systems, including 4.5 MCG, Boffors 57mm & 40 mm, Phalanx and GSA9. Also, FTTD discipline lead on success factors. Which would include PDR’s and Man management.
  • I have been in a manager’s role as a weapon’s F.L.M for a fixed 3 month role which I learnt a lot about man management and towards the end of this period I felt I could not fulfil my full potential and my skill base was in more of a technical role such as a test engineer which I have always succeeded in from previous job roles
  • When I was charge hand on the 4.5gun I enjoyed working with the men and taking lead, I am particularly good at thinking for myself and good motivation skills to get on with any task that pops up.
  • When I was working for myself as a subcontract, I had to be well organized and good planning was the tool for succeeding well
  • I can work on my own initiative and work well as a team player.
