I have worked hard throughout my life; gaining a high level of education prior to completing a 5 year apprenticeship then starting my own business as a farrier. I have been self employed since 1998 which has required hard, physical, energetic work and dedication, having an established client base who I undertook work for (as horses require regular shoeing) every 6 weeks. I was polite, punctual and had many clients for over 20 years which illustrates they were happy with the service I provided and the rapport we built. Furthermore since I was self employed I have organisational skills and an ability to undertake book-keeping which are transferrable to a role linked to HGV driving and deliveries.
Worked as a U.K. qualified farrier , shoeing horses , since I was twenty .
I have always worked hard thoughout my life and have worked in the field of farriery for over 30 years, when I started my apprenticeship and then started my own business. I am now ready for a change in direction in my life and have moved to Lincolnshire recently. Hence I am strongly motivated and excited to start my new career in HGV driving and have self funded my class 1 license, which was gained on 09/02/2026. I am a quick learner and managed to pass this in a short timespan. I am hard working, can adapt to circumstances and believe I would be an asset to your organisation.
