I began working at Synergy Dental in 2022 as a trainee dental nurse and qualified in December 2023. During my training, I progressed to the role of Head Nurse from March 2023 to September 2025, where I was responsible for leading the nursing team, managing stock ordering, conducting probation meetings with staff, and overseeing cross-infection control to ensure compliance with practice standards and regulations. In September 2025, I was promoted to Treatment Coordinator. In this role, I organise and manage diaries for complex and long-term treatment cases, coordinate laboratory work including ordering and tracking arrivals and departures, and carry out digital scans for lab work using the 3Shape TRIOS scanner. The practice provides a 50/50 mix of NHS and private dentistry, offering a wide range of treatments from general dentistry to full mouth rehabilitations, smile transformations, and specialist implant cases.

  • My job role as a senior support worker for The Rossendale Trust is to ensure the health and wellbeing of the individuals that I support. My daily tasks involve supporting the service user with their daily routine. Providing support in household duties, personal tasks and manage their personal lives as independently as possible. At all times is my responsibility to maintain the individuals respect whilst also ensuring their dignity. My work tasks can be varied on a daily basis. My support can involve me supporting the individual with their morning routine, this includes washing, dressing, personal care, meal preparation and furthermore. Administering medication and booking medical appointments for residents to attend. Depending on the service user and the shift pattern I work the job role is diverse with varied shifts and flexible working.
  • My job role as a HCA for East Cheshire NHS involved me working with a registered nurse on a bay with 8-10 patients. In the mornings support personal care, wash and dress patients, throughout the day serve meals to the patients and support them to eat depending on their level of care.
  • Help individuals mobilize around the ward, support with keeping areas clean and sanitary meeting standards of infection control and health and safety. Also, to monitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight.
  • It is also my responsibility to work as a team with the registered nurse and help set up equipment or organize materials for them to carry out their duties.
  • My job role at grays healthcare is to support an individual on a 1:1 bases with challenging and complex needs. My responsibility is to ensure that the individual does not endanger themselves or anyone around them, administrate medication and support them with their daily tasks ensuring that I maintain the individual’s dignity, safety and well-being at all times.
  • Shift patterns are different meaning that the day to day varies. My main responsibilities involve me attending physio appointments with the individual and trips out into the community.
