• Leading and inspiring choir members at weekly rehearsals
• Teaching the Rock Choir arrangements in an engaging manner and ensuring sessions are fun and informative
• Organising a wide variety of choir performances which include community events, charity dinners, corporate gigs, flashmobs, Big Sings and larger scale Theatre Shows
• As well as running annual Rock Choir themed Summer Workshops I have created and hosted successfully my own workshops including Billy Joel, Sound of Music, Les Miserables, Hairspray and The Greatest Showman
• Created the 'Back To Skool' annual event which has successfully sold out 3 years running. This is a full weekend event hosted by myself (plus another RC Leader) at a boarding school with a busy timetable which includes musical theatre workshops, social events and vocal workshop sessions

• I have additional responsibility as 'The Hands That Rock Choir Leader Liaison' - supporting THTR Leader Paul Whittaker, and members of the THTR and liaising with Choir Leaders & members with regards all signing queries

Successfully created and managed a busy schedule of weekly sessions for youngsters in West & North Glasgow, teaching up to 150 children under the age of 5 every week

I also recruited and managed two Class Leaders as well to help with the running of the classes which involved training them personally and managing their work doing appraisals as well

I worked closely with Managers with recruitment (interviewing) needs, Sickness & Absences, Disciplinary issues as well as carrying out ongoing training for new policies and procedures that were coming into place.

• In this role I also managed a small team of HR Assistants which involved making sure they were working efficiently and effectively both individually as well as being in a team

This was a stand alone HR role working in Port Glasgow as part of the small management team, reporting into the HR team in Felixstowe.

The role involved some travel and working with other HR Advisers based in different locations throughout the UK.

Day to day duties involved liaising with and supporting managers on site regarding people management issues and dealing with recruitment of temporary and permanent staff.
