As a member of the Sales Team at Clarks Witney, my role was to accurately fit shoes on both children and adults, competently use the till, navigate the stockroom, and maintain fantastic standards of customer service. Two weeks after I began working there, I was already leading salesperson, with more sales than my colleagues. I was often complimented on my patience!

I demonstrated product features to customers, built rapport with new and existing customers to boost client retention, organised displays to promote inventory and encourage customer purchases, boosted product sales by offering selection guidance to customers, engaged customers to enhance in-store experience, inspected products for damages and expiry dates before processing refunds, and accepted card and cash payments in a POS register system.

As a waitress at The Priory Tearooms, I provided friendly, courteous service, maximising positive customer satisfaction ratings. I regularly communicated with kitchen staff to minimise potential service delays and kept guest tables neat and tidy by regularly clearing away dirty dishes and wiping down surfaces.

I served meals and drinks with professionalism and skill, took food and beverage orders using a POS system, thoroughly cleaned dining areas and bathrooms to maintain guest comfort and hygiene, promptly and professionally resolved guest complaints and attended tables regularly to check customer needs were met.

As a volunteer at Sue Ryder, I helped to maintain the shop floor, accepted cash and card payments in a POS register system, created visually pleasing displays to attract customers and provided excellent customer service.
