recognising that nursing home are residents' home as well as a place
where care is delivered. Hence my role requires in-depth knowledge of
long term conditions associated with ageing, managing complex multiple
morbidities and frailty. Assisting in assessment of effectiveness of care,
nursing implementation and delivery. Implementing action to meet and
maintain care, and nursing standards. Working in cooperation with
members of the multidisciplinary team to maximise opportunities for
residents therapeutic care and ensuring residents rights are protected.
