I am highly motivated, hardworking and committed to getting alongside people and to build authentic, meaningful and empathetic relationships in order to provide guidance and support to any family, young person or individual who have multiple complex needs. In the role of Hidden Harm family worker, I have supported parents/carers of children or young people who have been involved in problematic drug and alcohol misuse to minimise the impact of this on their children. I have provided high quality and compassionate support to families with a wide range of complex needs such as mental health issues, homelessness, and offending. I am committed to working with people to enhance their general wellbeing and provide guidance and signposting for clients with regards to benefit support, accommodation, and welfare. I have developed strong links with partnership agencies including local schools, Children's Social Care, The Zone, Hamoaze House and Mental Health agencies and have advocated on behalf of individuals and families.
I would be excited to take on a challenging new role harnessing interpersonal skills, collaboration and problem-solving.
