- As such I also operated the FA scholars Academy at both Notts County and Mansfield Town FC and worked directly with the FA representatives on their scholarship apprenticeship scheme and the 20 or so apprentices at both clubs. It was I who appointed Dave Regis to take over until Notts County ended their involvement with their Academy. During this time I acted as IV for the College who also drew down funding directly from the FA and applied for their NVQ awards completed during the time the scheme was active
