  • Complete feasible production plan, for over 1000 lamps production per day.
  • Enter plans into MRP (AS400).
  • Communicate the plan with shop floor team leaders / shift leaders and management, ensuring that parts will be assembled on time to prevent the company from short shipment and associated fines.
  • Create pick lists for the despatch department to pick the goods ready for collection.
  • Arrange transportation where required.
  • Monitor delivery performance and personal KPI's.
  • Daily stock counts to monitor inventory levels of finished goods.
  • Use customer web sites to dispute monthly delivery rating. i.e. Ford / Landrover to maintain 100% delivery performance & Q1 status.
  • Liaise with customer on a daily basis, to ensure they have enough stock.
  • Possibly re-plan to customer priorities due to stock loss at customer.
