I have over 15 years’ experience working with vulnerable adults, specifically women and children facing VAWG and multiple disadvantages across a variety of settings. I am passionate about making a difference by executing projects to high-quality standards and looking at the most effective ways to carry out strategies whilst continuing to seek funding opportunities and develop future projects. Working with two well-established charities and within a high profile local authority has given me the opportunity to develop services London wide. Through my senior roles, I have dedicated my career to ensure the most vulnerable adults in society access the support they deserve. My professional career has also allowed me to carry out projects to ensure multiply excluded adults, have access to appropriate support. One of my proudest achievements has been the development of a Bi-Borough VAWG and Homelessness Strategy. This focused on ensuring women at multiple disadvantage can access appropriate housing with support, whilst raising the profile with the relevant Government bodies. My working ethos is underpinned by trauma-informed approaches to work with multiply excluded men, women and their children. I continuously seek to embed partnership working to provide a wrap- around support for women who have no recourse to public funds, have mental health or substance misuse issues, or are fleeing domestic violence.
