I have worked in education and educational settings for over 16 years, working through and experiencing many different roles including whole school roles such as DSL, Quality Nominee, Vocational Lead, Raising Standards Lead and Rewards and Enrichment Lead. Through my journey I have worked in a range of educational environments, my main setting has always been secondary education but I also have experience working with early years, primary, alternative settings and 6thforms. Through my experiences and leadership traits I also work with Pearson and OCR in a range of roles to ensure standards are maintained and lead on improvement where needed. I have led in 3 PE departments of varying sizes as well as whole school leadership. I continue to challenge myself as a practitoner, completing my NPQML, NPQLTD and will begin work on NPQSL in the Spring
Additional duties and roles include; Raising Standards Lead for KS4, Reward and Enrichment Lead, Extra curricular Lead and Data Manager for Functional Skills.
Leading on duties in a through school environment encompassing KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 with excellent KS4 results above the school and national averages.
As an examiner for Pearson I work with colleagues around the country to ensure standards are maintained to strict deadlines through the use of professional communications.
The role of moderator I work with centres around the country to ensure that correct procedures are followed, interval verification is correct and to feedback professionally on outcomes and ways to move forward.
