• Member of senior Executive Team responsible for all aspects of property data management, maintenance, investment, compliance and new build development.
• High proportion of compliance responsibility with 22 registered high-rise blocks, 80% flatted portfolio. Dispersed delivery across 2 regions and 10 estates in London and Walsall. Mixed maintenance model with small DLO and contractors.
• Reporting and presentation to Board and sub-committees: audit and risk, resident committee, and development.
• Challenging role in absence of wider internal support team structures, such as health and safety, communications and PR, development.
• Organisation built on strong ethos of resident empowerment and scrutiny and inter-action with 10 tenant led resident structures.

• Strategic and operational leader of Bromford repairs and maintenance services through leadership of a high performing team of 450 multi-disciplined colleagues operating across dispersed area covering 50 Local Authority areas. Delivering and managing repairs and maintenance services to c44,000 properties and associated assets and schemes. including DLO model for gas and electric service and maintenance.
• Develop strategies and structures to deliver efficient, safe and effective services – culture and transformation, supporting customers and colleagues to be their best.
• Working closely with our Localities and Investment directorates to ensure we align strategy, support and work together to achieve meaningful outcomes for customers cost effectively.
• Develop Business Case opportunities and implement diversification and in-sourcing of contracts to achieve VFM outcomes. In sourced 3 TUPE contracts and established new teams delivering £4m heating contract and £2m kitchen and bathroom contract.
• Total budget responsibility including colleagues c£45 million pa.

• Leading team of c400 colleagues delivering:
• Responsive repairs; Empty homes; Grounds maintenance
• Kitchen and Bathroom and heating capital works through in-house delivery c£6million
• Responsibility for contractor management / delivery of all areas of property compliance:
• Electrical testing and compliance & Gas service and repair, including solid fuel and Fire and CO alarms test and maintenance
• Compliance of Lifts, legionella, waste water plant, trees, play areas etc.
• All reporting, policy and procedure updates, service reviews, audits, financial budget setting and accountability.

• Led Teams covering all of Bromford service for:
• Portfolio Management – stock disposals, land transactions, commercial leases.
• Planned and cyclical maintenance with annual spend c£25million.
• Investment Planning – stock data management, stock condition surveys, asbestos management, fire risk assessments, investment programme planning.
• Development of 1, 5 and 30 year investment plans, strategy, policy and procedure development.

• Expansion of role as Property Manager to now include management of repairs service and in-house maintenance team. Member of senior leadership team and Board reporting.

• Responsibility for all aspects of delivery of asset management function in respect of investment planning and asset data, programmed and cyclical maintenance programme, strategy, policy and procedure development.

• Managing team of surveyors delivering planned and cyclical works – client and contract management.

• Delivery of programmed and cyclical works, feasibility and budget planning, contract development, procurement and appointment, delivery, management, monitoring and reporting on programme and budget, customer liaison.

• Draughtsman on new build and refurb projects. Contract development, procurement and management of all maintenance contracts on council owned public buildings, offices, leisure centres.
