A mature, reliable and extremely capable individual with bags of positive energy and an abundance of trade knowledge. Since successfully completing his B1 Dvr (Class 1 driving) course he has embraced the responsibility of working unsupervised, with unquestionable output he was handpicked to assist with the regeneration of the Regt's entire fleet of vehicles. With a calm confident manner he is able to instruct and supervise others with precise, confident instruction and leadership. During a CT2 (Construction Tasks) exercise in February 2018 he was appointed Section 2IC, unfazed he conducted himself as expected of an experienced LCpl (Lance Corporal) and occasionally was asked to stand in for the Section Commander, which he did to great effect. With a keen desire to progress he has attended and passed French speaking exams with excellent results, coupled with his recent Captaincy for the Army Volleyball team he is multi-faceted and ambitious.

As a LCpl, he was dynamic, intelligent and proactive, and an excellent MT (Mechanical Transport) Section 2IC. Deployed on Exercise Prairie Storm, he was an integral part of the vehicle HOTO (Hand Over Take Over) process, working closely with the MT SNCO (Senior Non-Commissioned Officer) to ensure vehicles were in a suitable condition. He demonstrated a high level of the trade knowledge and a proactive approach to ensure efficient fleet management both in camp and on exercise. Whilst deployed on Exercise Wessex Storm, he impressed as the ABLE (Automate Bridge Launching Equipment) Section 2IC, proving his leadership ability, as well as his intricate knowledge and experience of the bridging system. The support he provided to the ABLE Section Commander and ABLE SNCO was evident. During the ex, he stepped up as the ABLE Section Commander with ease. He was able to anticipate and resolve problems during challenging circumstances and complete the task to the highest standard. In barracks LCpl Kamdem Lewe is the Regimental white fleet JNCO (Junior Non-Commissioned Officer), further demonstrating his excellent fleet management and his capacity to conduct a variety of tasks for the Troop and facilitate the Regiment’s requirements. He delivered an excellent MT presentation to mentor the junior members of the Regiment in an important aspect of MT, demonstrating utter confidence and competence in the content he was briefing.

He competes at Army level volleyball events and coaches the female AGC (SPS) volleyball team, including a tour of S. Africa. Testament to his commitment to the sport, he is in the process of creating a Corps team. He is a big character within the Squadron and very highly regarded of within the Regiment.

As a Cpl (Corporal), he had a good reporting year. An experienced Section Commander who was a reliable instructor across a wide variety of disciplines, he confidently delivers CBRN (Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear), EOT (Explosives and Ordinance Training) , and BCD (Battlefield Casualty Drills) training at Company and Platoon level. Coupling this knowledge with SA (B) and (K) range qualifications, he was an asset to the Company who ran regular ranges throughout the CMS (Common Military Syllabus).

A clear role model for his subordinates, he developed a calm leadership style that had great success as a Section Commander at Phase 1 and as a Army Sport level Captain - leading the team to their first ever Crown Volleyball Championship victory.

He has a kind and approachable manner. He is respected within the Company for his wide employability as an instructor and boasts the physical robustness to set himself apart from his peers. A loyal JNCO, he can be relied upon at all times by his immediate Chain of Command.

My passion if fitness, which started when I was promoted to fitness instructor in the Army. I enjoy every aspect of fitness from the constant ability to push yourself and further your own goals to the completive nature of fighting to achieve the goals, I have more recently taken up ultra marathon running (30mile +) as this is too me the pinnacle of endurance sports and where you can truly push the mind and body, a true test of determination.
Socially I am a very bright and confident young man who is normally described as a people person. I enjoy socialising with friends and see it as an important factor in my life to maintain the balance but also further verbal skills.
