Summary

I'm a Tanzanian mathematician and statistician currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematics at the University of Sussex, UK, under the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission. I hold an MSc in Mathematical Sciences from AIMS-Ghana (affiliated with the University of Cape Coast) and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Dodoma, Tanzania.

I currently work as an Assistant Lecturer in Mathematics at the Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy in Dar es Salaam, having previously held the same role at the Catholic University of Mbeya. Earlier in my career, I worked as a statistician and mathematician intern at SUALISA (Sokoine University of Agriculture), where I applied statistical methods including regression modelling, propensity score matching, and difference-in-differences techniques to agricultural and socio-economic research.

I'm proficient in R, Python, SPSS, STATA, and various GIS and BI tools, with strong experience in data analysis, teaching, and research supervision. I'm driven, adaptable, and aiming to build on this PhD toward a future academic career, including research and eventually a professorship.
