I started as an operative, and over the course of four and a half years, I have taken on various roles within the warehouse of an e-commerce company with retail stores. The range of goods varies from Christmas baubles to sofas, with over 6,000 active SKUs.

As Supervisor on Inventory Control department:

• Doing cycle count and preparing for stock take
• Assisting stock take auditor
• Maintaining correct stock level including spare parts, samples and faulty items
• Investigating discrepancies as checking stock movements and delivery notes
• Investigating quality issues and customer complains
• Keeping records and reporting stock and quality issues to merchandising, sales and customer service department

As Supervisor on Goods In department:

• Supervising goods in team of 5 to 10 people

• Receiving and inspecting goods including loose boxes, palletised goods and up to six 40ft containers weekly

In 2023, the company relocated the warehouse, and I was responsible for organizing the transfer of around 4,000 pallets to the new building. Afterward, a sale was held at the old warehouse, where I supervised a small team to ensure a safe environment for customers. We also prepared and arranged imperfect stock for sale. My duties varied, including housekeeping, setting up displays, assembling furniture, and managing waste.
