  • client is a 13 year old boy he uses full body hoist and needs 24 hour care and this consists of..
  • assisting client with all personal care needs ie showers washing dressing oral care and getting client to get ready for school
  • assisting Client with breakfast, medication and making sure he has everything he needs for his day ie peg feed and change of clothes.
  • as client is non verbal and non mobile I assist with making sure he has daily walks for fresh air during the day when not at school. Also assist with bed rest as this crucial for clients needs.
  • Bedtime routine consist of washing, oral care, connecting peg feed for over night feed, night time medication and changing into Pj’s. Making sure client is as comfortable as possible Over night.
  • other daily activities include giving client sensory stimulation ie music, lights, bubbles. socialising and communicating with client this is very beneficial for him.
