Summary

Pharmacist with over 22 years’ experience with skills set developed through working in a varied number of clinical settings including community, hospital pharmacies, GP practice as well as the prisons. My most current ‘patient facing’ role is both exciting and challenging at the same time, it allows me to make good use of my excellent time-management, written and verbal communication skills as I problem solve and proactively identify solutions to clinical pharmacy and patient issues as the clinical pharmacist. Integral to my role is providing a pharmaceutical and medicines optimisation/management service to patients of varying specialties and core disease areas as part of several multi-disciplinary and operational teams. I possess strong research and analytical skills, as well as a solid understanding of the need to reduce costs without reducing quality of care. My constant interaction with clinical multidisciplinary teams, study management teams and other healthcare professionals allows me to maintain sustainable and efficient relationships. These mutual relationships help me to fit in seamlessly and contribute successfully to any team. I’m able to also work independently, under pressure and to tight deadlines.
