Summary

A very dedicated and flexible individual with excellent reporting and problem-solving skills. A strong team player but also very capable independently. Great at building rapport and trust with people through empathy, active listening and being client-centred. Excellent communicator with good recording skills, organisation and time-management abilities. Knowledgeable in psychological issues and am supportive helping clients through behaviour change. Awarded a 'Be Big- hearted' trophy - voted for by OYES colleagues, and came 1st in the Thrive Tribe recognitions table of 220 staff in 2022.

Alongside the roles outlined: between jobs, location moves (Cheshire, London, East Sussex) and having children, experience as barista and waitress (in a coffee shop, and De La Warr Pavilion bar); a receptionist (Leisure Centre), a marketing assistant (organising exhibition at London Expo); retail experience (department store in London), and health care assistant (in a Hospice, and a nursing home). Also school supervisor.

I very much believe you can learn from all work roles and environments and this has made me adaptable, quick to learn and helped me to be able to communicate effectively (from the general public, the young, the elderly, those with mental health issues, learning issues, clients on the spectrum, substance users and offenders).
