I recently relocated to Herne Bay from London, seeking to use my experience and diverse skills to pursue a new career opportunity.
I am a dedicated and committed professional with proven excellent attendance and punctuality records.
I am self-motivated and highly organised, being able to take direction and work as part of a wider team, fostering strong relationships with colleagues.
As a class teacher, working within a Specialist Provision, I was responsible for teaching Year 5 and 6 children with additional and complex needs including autism, ADHD, PDA, global delay and Cerebral Palsy. I was also responsible for leading a team of Teaching Assistants. Amongst other additional roles, I was Subject Manager for PSHE. I left this role as I was moving to Herne Bay and wished to pursue different career opportunities.
I worked as a class teacher at Woodside Specialist Academy. I was responsible for teaching children with autism and complex needs over a variety of age ranges in KS2 and KS3. I led a team of Teaching Assistance and was responsible for the Subject Management of PSHE.
During my time at Marvels Lane I worked as a teacher in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. I also taught mixed Reception/ Year1 and Year1/ 2 classes. I subject managed Art and then moved onto subject manage Science. I also served as a teacher governor for several years.
I worked as class teacher in Year 1. I also subject managed Art. I moved onto my next role as the school unfortunately closed.
I worked as a Teaching Assistant in two Year 1 classes. I left this role to begin a PGCE course.
I supported a child with additional needs in a 1:1 capacity. I left this position to have my second daughter.
I was responsible for overseeing the production and manufacturing of garments. This entailed initially designing garments and then liaising and communicating with factories in the far east at each stage of production through to importing. I left this position to have my first daughter.
In partnership with my sister, I ran a wholesale and retail fashion and textile company. This also entailed running stalls to sell our work at Camden and Greenwich markets and a retail outlet in Kensington High Street.
I worked as a fashion and textile designer and as an agent for other designers, travelling and selling to fashion companies in New York.
