
I am a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner who is nearly finished studying at Harlow College. By having the opportunity for hands on experience with supporting children's learning and development this has helped me complete my level 2 and nearly level 3 courses.
I am passionate about working with early years children to help and support them in all areas of development, I am reliable, patient and enthusiastic about supporting children's growth and well-being. As an individual I can develop and maintain strong partnerships working with parents and other team members to ensure the support is being given for the children.
As an Early Years practitioner within Peter Pan Pre School my role and experience is to support the children with their learning, development and their overall well being. I made sure sure a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn through play and exploration.
I planned a various age-appropriate activities that helped to promote all areas of the children's development including communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development.
Within my job role I also observed, assessed and recorded children's progress to ensure individual needs are met and the next steps are identified. As an Early Years Practitioner I also made sure all children were safeguarded and I followed the settings policies and procedures to make sure all children are protected and supported at all times.
I worked closely with other colleagues, parents and other professionals to ensure the correct support was given to support each child's development. I also contribute to maintaining a clean, organised and engaging learning environment that meets the health and safety requirements of the children.
During my time in working at William Martin School i currently did this role as voluntary to gain experience while i was studying my Level 2 Early Years Practitioner course at Harlow College.
My voluntary role within this setting was to maintain a high quality of care. I supported teaching staff in providing a safe, positive learning environment for the pupils. My role included assisting with classroom activities, helping children with learning tasks and offering additional support to individuals or small groups to reinforcers understanding and build confidence.
Within my role I helped prepare different learning materials, organise resources and contributed to maintaining a tidy and stimulating classroom environment.
Responded quickly during emergencies or accidents, guaranteeing child safety at all times and accompanied small groups on outings or field trips for enriching practical learning experiences.
My role and experience at working at Herts Meals was delivery a various of different meals to a high quality standard to the elderly while maintaining a good time frame.
I assisted with making sure each of the clients had the suitable meals for their daily needs. I also assisted some of the elderly clients with preparing and cooking these dishes. I made sure myself gave the customers a professional experience whilst maintaining a good relationship with each customer.
My role was to focus on supporting older adults with their daily needs, health, safety and overall well-being. Part of my job role was to be responsible for assisting residents with their personal care such as bathing, dressing and toileting. I also assisted with supporting the elderly with their mobility during different activities. Making sure all residents where safe within the environment and that they was comfortable throughout the day. I provided emotional support to patients, improved mental well-being.
I worked closely with a team of other staff members to make sure all residents had their needs met throughout the day.
My main responsibilities were to daily care and look after the well-being of the horses, I turned out and turned in the horses while preparing their stables, food and water.
