Profile

I graduated from Ulster University with a BSc in Cinematic Arts in 2020.

We made a lot of films for my course and this relies on working well in a team and under tight deadlines to get the projects finished.

I started my own part time business in 2012 with a grant I received from Invest NI. I sold jewellery and accessories and this has taught me business and organisational skills such as how to deal with orders, cash handling, managing finances and how to deal with the public.

I believe that excellent customer service is a must and to leave customers with a good experience and they will tell people about you and will visit you again.

I spent a year in Lisbon for my Erasmus and attended a film school there.

I was an ambassador for ESN and helped run events for international students and would also help with the social media and promotion of the events and the brand. This was a very valuable experience as it broadened my world view and gave me an insight to living in a different country and meeting people of every nationality and also working closely with them.

I learnt how to adapt to a different culture, to face new challenges and push comfort zones.

I enjoyed everything that this experience taught me and I have made many good friendships from this experience.
