  • Within this remit I support with the delivery of various projects ranging from construction, lease vehicles, catering, facilities management, hardware & agency staff.
  • Engage with stakeholders to advise and ensure appropriate procurement regulation is followed whilst analysing spend & new purchases
  • I take the lead on contract management issues via supplier liaison & stakeholder management
  • Open dialogue with my suppliers to confirm that there aren't any issues with delivery or contractual obligations, or the management of any price increases
  • I have good influencing and negotiation skills regarding external liaison to ensure that the NHS is provided with the highest value procurement possible
  • In my current role I manage a Procurement Officer to help with the development and progression of the Capital, Estates & Facilities workplan
  • I allocate tasks & manage the workload of this member of staff which I review in recurring 1:1 meetings
