- The company restructure in January 2023 resulted in a change of role within the Professional Services division.
- One of the key changes was the channelling of all Sage 200 upgrades within our customer-base into Professional Services, removing an historical dependency on IT Services for technical resource. As a result of this change I became the key technical resource throughout the upgrade process, ensuring a smooth transition while retaining team upgrade targets. This resulted in regular discussions with customers to provide the best solution for upgrading, and helping to ensure ongoing projects run smoothly and successfully.
- Wide range of skills throughout the life cycle of an ERP implementation via many years of working with various products. This ranges from scoping a solution in a presales capacity, to being an escalation point for problems or customer complaints during the project itself and also disaster recovery scenarios.
- Branching out into Sage 200 has given me a good working relationship with other parts of the business, particularly the Account Management and the Sage 200 support teams. This is in addition to existing relationships with the IT Services and Sage 1000 teams.
- Comfortable communicating with customers at all levels, with meetings at director or boardroom level being very common.
- Strong focus on customer retention and enhancing customer relationships.
