Preparation, coordination and authorisation of the Control of Work system activities for planned work.

Lead coordination of planned maintenance works, improvement projects and planned

shutdown activities.

Champion safe working and operational compliance through condition monitoring, audit of work activities and routine checks of work area

preparation co-ordination and authorising safe work system activities for scheduled engineering/non-production work. Providing Control of Work expertise to the engineering planning team, for both

shutdown activity and for other planned work as requested.

Providing Control of Work expertise to the operations teams tasked with the preparation and execution of decontamination schedules.

Effective written and verbal handover on the state of works; both complete and in progress, at the end of each work period.

Contributing to the ongoing development of the site Control of Work system; and providing training and mentoring to new issue

Providing technical operational leadership and coaching to chemical operators within manufacturing plants.

A high level of technical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing

plants in order to identify and rectify new or recurrent problems.

Leading and working with other departments on the development, installation and commissioning of changes to existing processes, or the start-up of new plant processes.

Control of Work competence, providing work permits as

required (including electrical, hot work and confined space permits)

Deputising for the Shift Supervisor as necessary.

assist the timely and efficient continuation of processing.
