A highly motivated individual with exceptional organisational skills and a knack for problem solving. Knowledgeable about film history, theory, and audience engagement.
This is a voluntary and remote role that I took on during my second year of University. Through this experience, I had the opportunity to further my skills regarding attention to detail, as well as learning to be more critical. I have viewed a range of work so far, of varying quality. Judging submissions for Lift-Off's worldwide festivals- such as Sydney, Tokyo, New York, and Berlin, has exposed me to many different types and techniques of filmmaking, many of which I was previously unfamiliar with. I feel that this role has been crucial for me, as it is much needed experience in the industry, and has expanded my view of filmmaking as a whole. My time in this role has also aided me in building my communication skills, through having to provide concise yet detailed reviews for each project I have been assigned, as well as skills in self-management and organisation.
