I work well in teams as well as independently and am solution driven
with a productivity-based mindset approaching tasks in a logical and
efficient way whilst maintaining quality to reach the project goals set.
I am determined to succeed in my career and be able to help my team also succeed with whatever task is presented in front of me .
I organised and lead a warehouse shift team to deliver efficient, accurate and safe logistics operations in a fast-paced environment. I coordinated daily tasks, allocate resources, and ensured targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, health & safety compliance. I supported the Shift Manager by engaging and motivating colleagues, managing workload fluctuations, and providing clear briefings and handovers.I resolved issues promptly, and coached team members to improve performance and operational excellence. I demonstrated strong communication to all staff members , attention to detail and adaptability to provide the safest and most effective outcome .
I am responsible for supporting customers across the golf range
activity's that are on offer i.e. driving range, crazy golf, footgolf and a
9-hole golf course whilst also responsible for the cafe area. My role
involves multi-tasking between these responsibilities supporting
customer requirements
My role also involves handling customer queries and concerns on
the purchasing of products and services such as lessons giving the
best advice possible.
I work with the team to plan weekly schedules regarding work rota's
including stock control.
• I gained a valuable week's work of experience at a local law firm.
This experience involved working alongside a barrister supporting
the preparation for court attendance.
•
Alongside the barrister I attended criminal court to experience how
sentences were conducted and how the supporting documentation I
was asked to provide was considered.
•
I gained vital real world research experience supporting lawyers and
a barrister on case preparation enabling me to appreciate how
barristers plan their defence or prosecution which has given me an
excellent appreciation of planning and how a professional
organisation operates.
I did a week's work experience at Wade Construction Management in
their commercial department and nance team.
During this, I worked with the marketing department to create
numerous LinkedIn posts and generate ideas on how, as a business,
we can grow and how marketing to the correct segment can achieve
this. I learnt that marketing is not all about adverts and getting your
name out there, and that it is about trying to reach your target
audience and create a relationship with them before they even
become your client.
I spent a day with their head of nance, and she showed me through
their systems and accounts. This ranged from their cash ow
statements to their balance sheets and their incomes statements.
This was interesting to me as I learnt how such a huge business
controls its nance in the most productive and efcient way through
up-to-date systems and communication between suppliers, clients,
and the rm itself. This showed me the importance of keeping track
of every little cost that goes on within a business and that keeping
things all in the same place makes things much easier to keep track
of
I also worked very closely with the owner of the business, and he
showed me the day-to-day life of running a multinational business
and how he controls all his employees and his managerial style. He
showed me that communication is a key role in his success, and why
his employees do the best they can for him. I learnt that being a
leader does not mean making all the decisions by yourself and that
all the team should be involved; however, when a key issue arises, as
the leader, you make the nal decision and stick with it.
