I completed my wind turbine technician apprenticeship between the years of 2020-2023. During which time I was also working as a technician on site. I have since become an AT on Vestas V52 turbines and regularly carry out the following:

• Led and completed annual and 6 monthly service operations within stipulated timeframes, ensuring optimal turbine performance
• Assisted in major component replacements, contributing to enhanced operational efficiency and reduced downtime
• Performed troubleshooting and diagnostics on mechanical and electrical systems, resolving issues promptly
• Completed necessary documentation, including AWPs, ROPs, and risk assessments to maintain compliance with safety standards
• Conducted regular toolbox talks to promote safety awareness and share best practices among team members
• Engaged in proactive job reflection and improvement, leading to increased efficiency and safety on site
• Consistently adhered to Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR) to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborated effectively with team members to achieve project goals and improve operational processes
