Accomplishments

I have been a member of my local cycling club for the last 15 years, in which time I have been actively involved with organising events and have for 5 years carried out the role of Membership Secretary. The club has in excess of 500 members and the role involved collecting annual membership fees, contacting those members who haven't paid their fees and preparing reports for the club chairman and regular committee meetings.

Completed the Ride London event on three separate occasions, a 100 mile timed cycle ride through London and the Surrey hills.

Competed in the Great River Race which is a rowing event on the Thames covering the same distance as a marathon, starting at London Docklands and finishing in Ham, Surrey.

Started and organised an Olympic distance Triathlon, including finding a suitable venue, marketing the event and achieving World Qualifying event status.
