· Oversee and be responsible for 240 students’ academic achievement across the curriculum.

· Monitor and take appropriate action regarding the attendance and punctuality of students within the year group.

· To monitor and take appropriate action regarding the behaviour concerns of specific students within the year group.

· To monitor and evaluate registrations and form periods within the year group.

· To monitor and evaluate lessons of students within the year group.

· To undertake regular quality assurance for the ear group in line with the requirements of the STP.

· To monitor and analyse attainment data; putting strategies in place to support target setting.

· To liaise regularly with SENCO regarding any student’s special needs.

· To liaise with HOFs regarding any student concerns.

· To liaise with all appropriate outside agencies regarding any further support students may require.

· To sample the year group’s tutor reports for quality.

• Provided high quality, creative teaching in all classes, creating challenging and rigorous learning which led to exceptional student engagement and progress
• Planned special events such as field trips related to Physical Education classes.
