- Oakhouse Foods provide a service to elderly and vulnerable people throughout Sussex. The role as the franchise owner was to build a relationship with the NHS and local council who in turn referred vulnerable people to us. I gained a wealth of experience within care in the community and received training in conjunction with the NHS and East Sussex County Council on performing safe and well checks for all customers. Additionally, training to recognise symptoms associated with dementia and other related illnesses concerning elderly people. I was very proud of the service we were able to provide and I feel I would like to develop my skills within a care providing setting.
