My job role involves setting up equipment for a rescue in confined spaces, planning the entry and egress, completing relevant paperwork and performing a dynamic risk assessment for the task. Making sure to follow site procedures and ensuring the upmost safety for the client is paramount. As a First Attack Firefighter I am also responsible for completing rounds on Warship projects and surrounding dockside, performing checks and auditing all of the firefighting equipment, responding to fire alarms and casualties along with performing sentry duties. I am fully trained in all areas relating to my job including the use of BA. all firefighting equipment along with HWS and cleaning.
