I am a very active person with a love of the outdoors. I have been a member of different climbing centres over the past 6 years and have been on numerous climbing trips around the world.
I have just returned to the UK after a four year trip to Australia where I worked in a variety of groundskeeping and maintenance positions where I gained the knowledge to cultivate and maintain stunning outdoor spaces.
I have consistently demonstrated strong communication skills which have been pivotal in my ability to collaborate effectively with team members, customers and the general public
I worked as a groundskeeper at the Melbourne grand Prix, maintaining all the grass around the track and public areas.
I started the Network Rail apprenticeship scheme in September 2010. I spent the first year of my apprenticeship in Fareham where I took the necessary courses to learn about and work effectively on the Railway. The second and third years of my apprenticeship involved completing 22 work-based learning objectives and 9 NVQ assessments, whilst integrating and working with the S&T faulting and maintenance teams in Reading, learning about the operational railway and how to work safely and efficiently.
