Before I started going to college in Tamworth, I spent two years in an engineering specialist Academy called WMG Academy for Young engineers which was roughly a 1 hour 30 bus ride from my old address in Great Barr but I still went. A large reason of why I went to a school so far away to study engineering other than my love for subject was because my late mother wanted me to before she unfortunately passed a month before I started in year 10. After 2 years of studying in this academy my dad became hospitalised mid way through my GCSE's and I had to move into Tamworth with my half brother and his family. I managed to pass all of my GCSE's (4's in English and a 5 in math) as well as getting Level 1 and Level 2 Distinctions in engineering. I was unprepared moving to Tamworth and had to apply rather late into the year for a college but luckily South Staffordshire College accepted me. After a few month of joining South Staffordshire College, my Dad unfortunately passed in January which through me off track slightly. However since I have been getting back on track more and the level of work I produce is to the best of my standards and it will only keep getting better.
I have completed online work experience with Fujitsu and how they plan to create smart cities develop solutions in industrial fields to both improve efficiency and reduce the affect they have on the environment.
