Summary

I am registered nurse with 6 years experience in adult nursing. I am lucky to have had exposure to different settings and areas of nursing during that time. This has allowed me to identify what skills I can best provide to our patients and enjoy in my work life. It has also given me a varied insight into the NHS and how different areas work, this has allowed me to develop good professional relationships with other health care workers.

I have always been proactive in working with marginalised communities who may get missed by current services due to various barriers and have felt incredibly proud that during my role as HIV specialist I have developed skills to identify, build rapport and engage people who may have had bad experiences previously. One of my rain reasons for starting a career in nursing was to be able to go the extra mile and help people who may have been overlooked and to offer them quality holistic care.

I am also very interested in quality improvement, to review and see what we can do as health professionals to make a great experience for both our patients and colleagues.
