• Pharmacological and non-pharmacological management and treatment of various disorders and diseases.
• Research experience in multi-centre work-time studies and internal quality audits contributing to improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness of care.

• Stoma, tissue viability and stoma care.
• Student nurse and junior staff training and mentorship, including the use of teaching, presentation and appraisal skills.
• Suction and tracheostomy care.

Nursing care in a day-case setting for children and their families requiring:

Pre- and post-procedure care of Endoscopy and Colonoscopy,

CT and MRI scanning,

Respiratory function testing.

Allergy testing.

In addition, I co-ordinated the management of six nursing staff on a shift-to-shift basis.

• Qualified nurse on a Tier 4, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services in-patient unit.

• Newly qualified nurse providing care to children and families admitted to a general medical ward for various specialities, including:
