  • Utilised engineering skills and qualifications gained to train individuals on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure that the regiment had substantial qualified manpower to respond to any situation required
  • Successfully taught a specialist electrical course in HV electrical maintenance and repair to provide the regiment with specialist teams, prior to leaving military service with the rank of sergeant

  • Established and ran own business, which had previously been struggling to break even, turning it into one of the leading bars in Derby by giving the business a clear direction and identity.
  • Entered Derby’s best bar competition against some of the town’s most accredited businesses and won after only two years of trading, through hard work and determination.
  • Posted to Kosovo as part of a team establishing refugee camps, hospitals and a key infrastructure for civilians during the refugee crisis. Role included working on all of the planning, building and installation of key household electrical infrastructure, so that by the time that the team left Kosovo it had established utility services and a safe living environment.
  • Project managed the full restoration of a VW camper van, including 1000hrs research, to create a one-off show piece. The restored camper van was featured on the cover of VW Volksworld and was subsequently purchased by the Dyson family.
